May 2002 Archives
Photos
For your viewing pleasure, we have added a photo gallery section to LambdaHouse.org. Our first gallery is up, highlighting photos that Ken Scheinder (Beta Pi '93) took in early April. In light of the upcoming July 20th work session, these photos show some areas of the house in need of repair. Take a look.
2002 Summer Work Session
It's official, the 2002 Summer Work session at the house will be held on Saturday, July 20th at 9:00 A.M.
We will be prepping the house to receive new carpeting for the start of school in the fall. Old carpet will be removed and various other touch-ups will be done around the house.
If you can, try to take a little time out of your schedule to give a little back to the house. Alumni support as a whole has been lacking the past couple of years. This is a perfect opportunity to help the chapter, spend some time with brothers you haven't seen in a while, and meet some new ones.
Also, for those who are interested in sticking around on July 21st, we will be playing a round of 18 at Zollner Golf Course. Contact Ken Schneider if you would like to participate.
Stockberger Golf Outing
This year's Stockberger Golf Outing will be held on July 26, 27 & 28 at Zollner Golf Course. More details coming soon.
Meeting Minutes
Lambda House meeting minutes are now posted from the April 21st meeting in Angola. Read on! Thanks PHiL!
SigEp Talk
For those of you that are familiar with the Yahoo! group, TSUSigEp, there is another Yahoo! group that would be of interest to us, SigEp-Talk. This group is nationally oriented, so any Sigep can join. Discuss seems yet to start in the group, but if it gets going, it should be an interesting place to share ideas with other SigEps. Join SigEp-Talk. Join TSUSigEp.
News from gradutation
Graduation news direct from Angola, Indiana.
It was an Indiana Theta affair at this year's Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon as brothers Phil Meyer (Gamma Theta '99) and Dan Mahan (Gamma Kappa, '00) each competed in the annual event. Phil was a part of a four-man relay that pulled in a 3:34:08, ranking them 43 overall and 23 in their class. Dan ran the entire 26.2 mile course in a personal record 3:56:51 ranking him 1336 overall and 75 in his age group. More information on the Flying Pig Marathon.
