Former Grand President Dies
Former SigEp Grand President J. Russell Pratt (Michigan Alpha, University of Michigan, 1939, Indiana Alpha, Purdue University) passed away Sunday. Brother Pratt was a pioneer in fraternity housing when he, along with Ray McCron and Lew Mason, founded the Sigma Phi Epsilon Housing Loan Board in 1959.

Work Session 2 a Success
The summer's second work session was held this past weekend with great results. The 406 is just a few coats of paint away from completion, more doors were hung in the house, a new railing was installed around the outside basement stairs and the yard and landscaping was spruced up.
Thanks to all the actives and alumni that pitched in and especially to Dayne Haight for his great coordination.

Regional Directors Announced

Frey named TSU head football coach
Bob Frey, formerly of MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL, was formally introduced as Tri-State University's new head football coach during a press conference this morning.

TSU to Hire New Football Coach
In old news, TSU is now searching for a head football coach after the Thunder's only head coach, Dale Carlson, was hired to start a football program at Ohio Dominican University.

Hershey Hall Struck By Lightening
Tri-State's gymnasium, Hershey Hall was struck by lightening during storms Sunday evening. Photos of the struck building are here.
SigEp Golf Outing Postponed
Bill Stockberger's SigEp Golf Outing has been postponed. Bill is planning on hosting the event at this year's TSU Homecoming weekend, September 26 - 27th.
